The number of unique users who engage with an app within a month

Monthly active users (MAU) is a metric used by app developers to monitor the number of unique users using their app within a 30-day period. Assessing whether the MAU metric is increasing, decreasing, or stagnant month-on-month helps to determine the popularity of an app.
