Daily Active Users (DAU)

Daily active users is a metric used to measure the total number of users that engage with an app on a daily basis. Unique users refer to the total number of individuals that have visited your app in a day - it does include how many times each user has visited the app.

Tracking DAU on a day-by-day basis is a good indication of whether your app’s user base is growing, declining, or remains stagnant.
