Click-Through Rate (CTR)
The rate of clicks to impressions on a mobile ad
CTR is a metric used to measure the number of clicks an ad receives per number of impressions. Generally, the higher the CTR, the more effective the advertising campaign.
A CTR can help app marketers to ascertain an ad’s performance and the success of its content and creatives.
How is CTR calculated?
(Number of ad clicks/overall ad impressions) * 100 to generate the CTR percentage.
For example, if your mobile advertising campaign had generated 25,000 impressions and 750 clicks through to an app store, your CTR would be 3%.
